The third Czech-Israeli Technology Days

Year 2010 will be in the sign of Agreement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the State of Israel on bilateral cooperation concerned with support for industrial research and development in the private sector, concluded on 30 March 2009 (hereinafter the “Agreement”).

The GESHER/MOST programme will be administered by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports that is the provider of specific aid pursuant to Article 33, Section 2 a) of Act No. 130/2002 Coll. on support of research, experimental development and innovation from public funds and on amendment to some related acts (the Act on Support of Research and Development), as amended. The implementation agency on the Czech side is, in line with the Agreement, the CzechInvest agency. The implementation agency on the Israeli part is the Israeli Industry Center for R&D.

It is assumed that in the 2010-2013 period a call for proposals in the area of research and development will be announced each year. Implementation of the last projects will be finalised still during the programme period, i.e. by 31 December 2017. Each contracting party to the Agreement will cover the costs of its participants in the joint projects. The specific aid for Czech participants in joint projects will be provided in line with generally binding legal regulations governing the provision of support for applied research and experimental development.

The 3rd Czech-Israeli Technology Days would support this Agreement by matching the potential partners from both sides.

Please, stay tuned for more information about this project.
