Czech-Brazilian Technology Days 2010

There is no doubt that Brazil is the technological leader in South America. At the top of the Brazilian applied research is next to the air (Embraer is the third leading plane producer of world) space technology research. Together with Brasil Space Agency (AEB) and National Institute of Space Research (INPE), CzechInvest, Czech Space Alliance and Czech Embassy in Brasilia will manage the meetings of Czech and Brasil top representatives from the aero and space sector to link the cooperation on the highest possible level between both sides.

The main partner for the Czech side will be the Brazilian Space Agency (Agência Espacial Brasileira – AEB; founded in 1994 in response to demand old Brazilian scientific and technological community). It is a federal civil office, formally under the Ministry of Science and Technology BFR. AEB's mission is to promote the development of Brazilian space activities decentralized form. AEB creates and draws related national policies and plans, makes them into practice and participates in manage an activities that are execute by other cooperating government agencies. In addition to these institutions closely cooperates with universities and the National Institute for Space Research (INPE).

The event will take place in the second half of November in the capital city of Brasilia and the center of aviation and space industry José dos Campos. The program is in addition to the AEB meeting with other government agencies and private entities. Czech industry will represent the Czech Space Alliance and its members.
